Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd. is seeking a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with physical disabilities in Sutton. The role involves 1:1 and small group support, enabling access to learning and promoting independence within a caring school setting.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children with disabilities, robust communication skills, and a patient, empathetic approach. DBS updates and UK work rights are required, with term-time, full-time hours and starting ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with physical disabilities on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Assist with classroom activities and adapt learning where required.
• Promote independence, confidence and social development.
• Support mobility and personal care needs where necessary.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff.
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
