TeacherActive Limited is working with a specialist SEN school in Dudley (DY5) to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis. The role involves 1:1 support for pupils with ASD, SLD and PMLD and helping them engage with learning, communication and independence both in and out of the classroom.

You will be part of a dedicated team and benefit from market-leading rates of pay, CPD courses, and ongoing consultant support to assist onboarding and professional progression.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting children or young people with ASD, SLD and PMLD.
• Experience providing 1:1 support in a specialist SEN setting.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will provide 1:1 support to pupils with Autism / ASD, Severe Learning Difficulties / SLD and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties / PMLD, supporting their engagement with learning, communication, personal development and independence both in and out of the classroom.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

• Experience supporting children or young people with ASD, SLD and PMLD

• Experience providing 1:1 support in a specialist SEN setting

• Knowledge of supporting pupils with communication difficulties and complex learning needs

• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities

• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
