TeacherActive Limited is working with a specialist SEN school in Dudley (DY5) to appoint a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term basis. The role involves 1:1 support for pupils with ASD, SLD and PMLD and helping them engage with learning, communication and independence both in and out of the classroom.

You will be part of a dedicated team and benefit from market-leading rates of pay, CPD courses, and ongoing consultant support to assist onboarding and professional progression.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with ASD, SLD and PMLD.
• Experience providing 1:1 support in a specialist SEN setting.
• Knowledge of supporting pupils with communication difficulties and complex learning needs.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 support to pupils with ASD/SLD/PMLD and engage them in learning.
• Support pupils' communication, personal development and independence in class and beyond.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, teachers and families to help learning outcomes.
