We are working with schools across LISKEARD who are seeking full time SEN Support Worker with a background in health and child care. Those who are keen to support with Special Needs like Autism, ADHD, ASD and other disabilities.

We work with a large trust who have multiple schools including those in Plymouth, Launceston, Liskeard and Tavistock.

It would be a great advantage to have experience with children with additional needs!

THOSE WITH A UK DRIVING LICENSE AND OWN CAR ARE PREFERRED!

Responsibilities:

· Guide students as a Support Worker, offering personalised guidance and support.

· Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to develop comprehensive support plans.

· Support within special Needs like Autism, ADHD, ASD and other disabilities.

· Foster a nurturing environment that promotes improved social interactions and communication skills.

· Assist with daily tasks, academic activities, and implement effective interventions to address behaviour challenges and promote positive outcomes.

Requirements:

· Effective communication abilities to ensure clear interactions

· Applicants holding a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle will be prioritised.

· Demonstrated Patience and Empathy along with flexibility and adaptability
