Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join Reach South Trust/Transforming Futures Academy on a temporary basis to cover short-term absences and provide essential support to students and teachers.

You will work closely with classroom teachers, delivering lessons, supporting students of various ages and abilities, and helping maintain a positive learning environment, including support for SEN students.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting learning.
• Flexibility to work across different year groups and classroom settings.
• Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are advantageous but not essential.
• Driver's Licence and car are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers with the delivery of lessons and activities, including setting up resources and materials.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students needing additional assistance with their learning.
• Support students with SEN by implementing IEPs and accommodations.
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and other support professionals to ensure the smooth running of the classroom.
