Job summary

GSL Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide SEN support at a primary school. The role is full-time and long-term, starting in September, with duties focused on helping a pupil access learning, build confidence, and progress academically and socially.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to tailor support, foster positive relationships, and contribute to an inclusive classroom environment. The role offers stability and meaningful daily impact.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
  • Experience working in a primary school or educational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Providing dedicated support for a child with SEN within the classroom.

  • Assisting with classroom routines and transitions.
  • Working collaboratively with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider school staff.
