Job summary

Riley Personnel is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant for a welcoming primary school in Ealing. You will work 1:1 and in small groups to support pupils with additional needs, helping them access the curriculum and build independence.

Candidate with SEN experience and strong behaviour management will thrive in this role, with graduates in Education or Psychology encouraged to apply. DBS checks required.

• Previous SEN experience essential.
• Strong behaviour management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 and small-group support to primary-aged pupils with SEN.
• Support children with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties.
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, social development and independence.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and adapting learning materials.
• Help create a structured, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and other professionals.
• Monitor pupils' progress and communicate concerns to the teaching team.
