Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is working with a supportive SEN school in Enfield to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant for primary and secondary ages. You will support pupils with a range of needs in a structured, nurturing environment where development, wellbeing and learning are central.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support across classes, helping with communication, emotional regulation and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN, autism or complex needs.
• A patient, calm and resilient approach.
• Ability to support pupils with non-verbal or limited communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support across primary and secondary classes.
• Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and engagement in learning.
• Follow EHCP targets and individual learning plans.
• Assist with personal care where required.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals.
• Maintain a calm, structured and positive learning environment.
• Encourage independence, confidence and social development.
