Job summary

Teach Plus is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Greenford, Ealing, starting ASAP. This full-time role supports children with SEND, providing tailored one-to-one and small-group help to raise attainment, confidence and social development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months UK experience with children
• Experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
• Strong SEND knowledge relevant to the role
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND on a one-to-one and small-group basis, adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
• Assist class teachers with planning and delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities
• Develop positive relationships with pupils, encouraging confidence, independence and participation in the classroom
• Implement appropriate strategies to support pupils with their social, emotional and behavioural development
• Monitor pupil progress and provide regular feedback to teachers and the wider support team
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment for all pupils
