Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd in Surbiton is seeking a compassionate SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with SEN in a welcoming, inclusive environment. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, assisting pupils with ASC, ADHD, speech and language needs, and helping deliver learning and behaviour plans.

The role is full-time, term-time only, with daily pay ranging from £92.63 to £100. Immediate start available, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must hold a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Support children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties, and other learning needs.
• Assist with academic, social, and emotional development.
• Help implement individual learning and behaviour support plans.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to support student progress.
• Promote a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
