Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting a SEN Learning Support Worker to support learners with SEMH and academic needs at a Tewkesbury provision. You will help learners manage behaviour, engage in learning, and develop social and emotional skills as part of a supportive team.

Working under skilled staff, you will deliver targeted interventions, monitor progress, and ensure safeguarding policies are followed within a caring, welcoming environment for every learner.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is beneficial but not essential.

SEN Learning Support Worker - Tewkesbury

A specialist Alternative Provision setting in Tewkesbury is looking for a passionate SEN Learning Support Worker to join their team. You will be responsible for supporting a range of learners daily with their SEMH and academic needs as well as creating a fun, safe environment for all to learn and thrive! As part of the role, you will work alongside and be supported by highly experienced teaching staff as well as a wide range of other education professionals. Your role will be essential in helping learners manage and understand their behaviour, engage in learning, and build social and emotional skills for life! You will be vital in creating a positive and supportive environment where all learners feel safe, valued, and understood whilst attending the provision.

Role Details:

• Location: Tewkesbury based


• Salary: £90 - £105 per day (DOE)


• Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)


• Start: ASAP


• Contract: Term Time only
