Job summary

Academics are recruiting a SEN Learning Support Mentor for a specialist Alternative Provision setting in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. You will work alongside experienced teaching staff to help learners manage behaviour, engage in learning, and build social and emotional skills for life. The role is term-time only with a daily rate of £93–£105, start ASAP.

Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm. A DBS check is required or willingness to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience with SEN and behaviour support is advantageous.

SEN Learning Support Mentor

Academics are recruiting a passionate SEN Learning Support Mentor on behalf of a specialist Alternative Provision setting in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.

As part of the role, you will work alongside and be supported by highly experienced teaching staff as well as a wide range of other education professionals. Your role will be essential in helping learners manage and understand their behaviour, engage in learning, and build social and emotional skills for life! You will be vital in creating a positive and supportive environment where all learners feel safe, valued, and understood whilst attending the provision so that everyone is able to develop and thrive.

Role Details:

• Location: Cheltenham
• Salary: £93 - £105 per day (DOE)
• Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 3:30pm)
• Start: ASAP
• Contract: Term Time only

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
