Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Southampton is seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work in Special Educational Needs settings. This temporary role starts ASAP (subject to vetting) and runs Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:30pm, with competitive pay of £14.25 per hour and full-time weekday hours.

You will support children with SEN, work with teaching staff on learning and behaviour, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help create a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting children with SEN is desirable.
• Willing to complete safeguarding and vetting checks.
• Available to work 5 days per week.
• Able to work 8:30am–3:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with teaching staff to support learning, behaviour and emotional development.
