Job summary

Addington School in Reading is seeking Learning Support Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs. 30 hours per week, term time only plus 2 INSET days, with specific hours Mon-Fri. The role includes assisting with classroom prep, managing pupil needs, and contributing to a collaborative, safeguarding-focused school culture.

Qualifications

• Assisting with pupils' individual needs.
• Preparation of classroom resources.
• Support with behaviour management strategies.
• Term-time with INSET support days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general management of pupils.
• Prepare classrooms and set out resources.
• Support pupils' individual needs in a bespoke learning environment.
• Implement behaviour management plans when required.
• Support across two sites (Woodley and Farley Hill) and Early Years Centre in Farley Hill.
