Academics are recruiting on behalf of a residential SEN school in Andover for a SEN Teacher to start September 2026. The role involves delivering engaging lessons for learners with additional needs across KS3 and KS4 and supporting them to GCSEs.

You will adapt teaching to meet EHCP outcomes and work within a supportive team to enrich the school community. The successful candidate will hold QTS, have KS3/KS4 experience, and demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • QTS is required.
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
  • Strong classroom management and a flexible, responsive teaching style.

Responsibilities

  • Support students to achieve qualifications up to GCSE level.

  • Motivate and engage learners through inclusive, creative practice.
  • Provide meaningful feedback to accelerate progress and build confidence.
  • Contribute to enrichment and the wider life of the school.
