Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work full-time in a Brent secondary school. You will support students with SEN on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within mainstream lessons, adapting strategies to meet learning and emotional needs.

The role involves close collaboration with the SEND team, teachers and pastoral staff, promoting independence, confidence and engagement in learning while helping students with emotional regulation and social skills.

Formación

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
• Experience in schools, SEND settings, youth work, coaching, care or similar environments is highly desirable.
• Patience, empathy and strong relationship-building skills.
• A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting different learning needs.
• Available to work full-time, 5 days per week.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting students with SEN on a 1:1 basis, in small groups and within mainstream lessons.
• Adapting support strategies to meet individual learning and emotional needs.
• Working closely with the school's SEND team, teachers and pastoral staff.
• Promoting independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
• Supporting students with emotional regulation, organisation and social skills.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping students overcome barriers to learning.
• Building strong relationships that enable students to thrive both academically and personally.
