Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking qualified SEN Learning Support Assistants to support pupils in Croydon on long-term placements and daily supply roles.

We are particularly interested in candidates with 1:1 experience and familiarity with Makaton or PECS, behavioural needs, or autism. All candidates must have two years of references and undergo safeguarding checks as part of the recruitment process.

Qualifications

• Experience of 1:1 work with pupils.
• Knowledge of Makaton or PECS is beneficial.
• Experience with behavioural issues, autism or communication needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 SEN support to pupils in Croydon.
• Assist learning activities and classroom routines.
• Assist safeguarding and welfare checks as required.
