Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a mainstream primary school in Basildon from September. This role supports a child with ASD, helping them access learning and build confidence within the classroom environment.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies, encourage engagement and positive learning behaviours, and foster a nurturing, inclusive learning environment.

Are you an experienced and compassionate Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child's educational journey?

Protocol Education is recruiting for a full-time 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a thriving mainstream primary school in Basildon from September. This rewarding role involves supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them access learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential within the classroom environment.

This position is subject to a successful interview and trial within the school, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate.

The Role

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
