Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking qualified and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants to work with SEN pupils in Croydon on a long-term basis.

Experience with 1:1 support, speech and language needs, or behavioural challenges is highly regarded; familiarity with Makaton, PECS, autism is welcome.

We offer flexible roles including daily supply and long-term placements, two references, CPD training, and a dedicated consultant.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils 1:1.
• Experience with speech/language or behavioural issues.
• Familiarity with Makaton, PECS or autism helpful.
• Two years of references required.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN pupils in mainstream/SEND settings.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement individual plans.
• Uphold safeguarding standards and DBS requirements.

Job description

Protocol Education is currently working closely with SEN schools in Croydon area and are seeking qualified and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistants to work with them on long term basis.

We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have previous experience of working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, who have speech and language difficulties or behavioural issues. It would also be beneficial if you have worked with pupils with or using the following

• Makaton
• PECS- Picture Exchange Communication System
• Behavioural issues
• Autism
