Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking SEN Learning Mentors to support pupils with additional needs in specialist and mainstream school settings in Chigwell and surrounding areas. The role offers daily pay and is full-time for term-time work, with hours typically 8:30–16:00, Monday to Friday.

The position focuses on assisting learners with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties, delivering 1:1 and small-group support, and helping create an inclusive, positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
• Patient, resilient, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Experience supporting SEN, SEMH, Autism or behavioural needs is advantageous.
• Ideal for aspiring Teachers, Educational Psychologists, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, or Youth Workers.

Responsibilities
