Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking a Learning Support Mentor in Chigwell, Essex to support pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs. This full-time role is term-time only and paid £90-£115 per day, DOE.

You will work 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour, engagement and learning, assist with behaviour plans and emotional regulation, and support teachers in a structured learning environment.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting children and young people
• Patient, calm, and proactive approach
• Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience working with children or young people in any setting is beneficial
• Ideal for aspiring Youth Workers, Behaviour Mentors, Teachers, Counsellors, or Psychologists

Learning Support Mentor
