Job summary

Justteachers Ltd. is seeking a motivated SEN HLTA to join a specialist school in Kidderminster from September 2026. You will support planning, deliver targeted interventions and help create an inclusive classroom environment for pupils with complex needs.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and a passion for helping children and young people achieve positive outcomes. An Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one is preferred.

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience in SEN settings is essential.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying pupil needs.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and delivery of high-quality learning activities for pupils with SEN.
• Lead small-group and one-to-one interventions to support academic and personal development.
• Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Support pupils with a range of complex needs including autism and MLD.
• Monitor pupil progress and maintain accurate records.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Liaise with teaching staff, parents and external agencies.
