Job summary

REESON Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a mixed Church of England secondary and sixth form in South East London, with immediate start and part- or full-time patterns. The role is long-term with scope to go permanent.

The ideal candidate will support SEN and LAP students, help identify learning needs with teachers, and attend to social, emotional, and personal needs while contributing to behaviour management and targeted learning activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting ASD, ADHD, literacy, phonics and SEMH.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS (clear and up to date).
• UK Bachelor's Degree or overseas equivalent.
• Experience in UK schools.

Responsibilities

• Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions
• Working with teachers to identify learning needs
• Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs
• Supporting behaviour management and academy policy
• Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
