Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term role at a coeducational secondary school in South East London. The position runs 8am–4pm with an unpaid hour break, with scope to go permanent.

Responsibilities include supporting SEN/LAP students, identifying learning needs with teachers, attending to social and emotional needs, aiding behaviour management, and delivering learning activities as required.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting students in group or class interventions.
• Able to work with teachers to identify learning needs.
• Capable of addressing social, emotional and personal needs of students.

Responsibilities

• Support SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions.
• Work with teachers to identify each student's learning needs.
• Attend to students' social, emotional and personal needs.
• Support behaviour management using academy policies.
• Undertake learning activities/teaching programmes when needed.
