Job summary

Reeson Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant in South East London for an immediate start. The role is available part or full-time and long-term with potential to go permanent.

You will support SEN/LAP students, assist with group or whole-class interventions, and help identify learning needs alongside teachers. The ideal candidate can be a recent graduate or an experienced TA with experience supporting ASD, ADHD, literacy, phonics and SEMH, and has right to work in the UK with DBS.

Qualifications

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • UK Bachelor's Degree or an overseas equivalent
  • Experience of working with children/young people or as a Teaching Assistant in UK schools

Responsibilities

  • Supporting SEN and LAP students in group or whole class intervention sessions
  • Working with teachers to identify each student's learning needs
  • Attending to students' social, emotional and personal needs when required
  • Supporting behaviour management and using appropriate strategies in line with academy policy
  • Undertaking learning activities/teaching programmes when needed
