Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is actively recruiting SEN Class Teachers for Northampton partner schools from September 2026. Roles span primary and secondary settings in various SEN provisions and Alternative Provision settings.

We welcome experienced SEN teachers, mainstream teachers moving into SEN, and ECTs who are passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs. The positions are available full-time or part-time across multiple schools.

Qualifications

Qualified Teachers with QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Primary and/or Secondary teaching experience.
A genuine passion for working with pupils with SEN.
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
The ability to differentiate learning effectively.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A patient, resilient and nurturing approach.
Teachers who are committed to helping every pupil achieve their potential.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs.
Collaborate with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and support teams to create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Adapt teaching to a range of needs including ASC, SEMH, SLD, MLD, PMLD and complex learning needs.
