Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a motivated Trainee SEN Teacher to work across SEN schools and specialist provisions in Northamptonshire. You will gain hands-on experience, develop teaching skills and explore various SEN environments through short-term and longer-term placements.

Ideal candidates have a passion for supporting children with additional needs, strong communication skills and a proactive approach. Previous experience in education or child-focused roles is beneficial.

• Patient, adaptable and proactive approach to supporting learning

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of needs including autism, SEMH and learning difficulties
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging, accessible learning activities
• Build positive relationships to encourage confidence and engagement
• Work with teaching staff to support pupil development across settings
• Be flexible across short- and longer-term placements and adopt different school environments
