Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd in Croydon is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor for full-time long-term positions and day-to-day supply work. You will support students who may face behavioural, emotional or social challenges, helping them build positive behaviours, confidence and engagement with education.

You will collaborate with teachers and school staff, provide one-to-one and small group mentoring, and contribute to a calm, supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support students with behavioural, emotional and social needs.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with students.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning.
• Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring where required.
• Work closely with teachers and wider school staff.
