Job summary

Great Wishford C of E Primary School in Salisbury is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils, including those with EHCPs, from November 2026. The role is part-time, 15.75 hours per week, across Wednesday to Friday, with an 38-week year.

The fixed-term contract runs until 21 July 2026. You will work 1:1 and in small groups, liaising with teachers and the SENCO, to help children reach their learning goals in a caring, Christian ethos environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children's learning and SEN support.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work across age ranges.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to children with EHCPs.
• Support small group interventions and cover across the school.
• Liaise with teachers and SENCO.
• Assist with classroom activities and monitor wellbeing.
