Job summary

Weldon Church of England Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil. The role is permanent, full-time hours are 12.5 per week, with a focus on supporting learning and behavior in the classroom. The position starts ASAP, and the school values a friendly, approachable candidate who supports the school’s ethos.

Candidate will assist the teacher in delivering education, ensuring pupils feel safe and engaged. CPD training including First Aid and safeguarding is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting primary students preferred.
• Ability to supervise and support pupils in learning environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a child in the classroom.
• Assist the teacher with implementing pupil education and behavior management.
