Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good knowledge of cloud accounting software, with Xero experience advantageous.
• A proactive and positive approach with a genuine desire to progress your career.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts and management accounts for a varied client portfolio.
• Supporting clients with tax compliance including corporation and personal tax.
• Building trusted relationships and becoming a key point of contact for clients.
• Advising and supporting clients with cloud-based accounting systems, including Xero.
• Working closely with Senior Accountants and Managers on client projects and assignments.
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and add value to clients.
• Supporting, mentoring and developing junior team members.
• Collaborating across departments to deliver an exceptional client experience.

The Opportunity

As a Semi Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to a varied client base. This is a broad and rewarding position that will allow you to build your technical expertise while developing strong client relationships and progressing towards senior responsibilities.

About You

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice environment.
• AAT qualified or studying towards ACA or ACCA.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Good knowledge of cloud accounting software, with Xero experience advantageous.
