Job summary

Workforce Recruitment and Training is recruiting two experienced Accounts Semi Seniors for a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice based in Cannock. You will join a friendly, supportive team and contribute to a varied client portfolio.

The role focuses on preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT returns, and maintaining client relationships while using cloud accounting software. An excellent development pathway is offered.

Qualifications

• About five years' experience in an accountancy practice.
• ACCA qualified (or nearing completion).
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and Sage accounting software.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
• A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients.
• Assisting with the preparation of management accounts.
• Preparing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping activities.
• Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide excellent service.
• Supporting senior accountants and managers with client assignments.
• Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines.
• Using cloud accounting software to maintain and process financial information.
