Addington Ball Limited in Leamington Spa is seeking a Semi Senior Accountant responsible for managing client accounts, completing year-end work, VAT/CIS returns, and supporting bookkeeping and management reporting. The role offers a full study support package and a 35-hour week with a 2pm finish on Fridays.

You will work on a diverse client portfolio, build relationships, and pursue ACCA/ACA qualifications, with a supportive environment and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice.
• AAT qualified or actively studying ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA.
• IT skills including Excel and accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, etc.)

Responsabilités

• Preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts and bookkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse range of clients, providing guidance and advice to clients
• Financial Year-end accounts, ensuring relevant financial reporting standards are adhered to
• Preparation of year-end accounts, management accounts and bookkeeping
• Completion and submission of VAT & CIS returns
• Other ad hoc all round accounting tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice
• AAT qualified and/or actively studying towards ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualifications
• IT skills including Excel and any accounts software (Sage, Xero, QuickBooks etc)
• High levels of attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
