Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for a SEMH Tutor to deliver bespoke education packages on a 1:1 basis to young people that are not attending school, in Manchester.

You will create, plan and deliver tailored lessons to reengage pupils, bridging gaps in their education and boosting engagement and attainment. The role is to support pupils who may have been out of education for a while, with flexible hours and start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• 6 months+ experience working as a tutor
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

Responsibilities

• Deliver bespoke 1:1 SEMH education to pupils not attending school
• Plan and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps and boost engagement and attainment
• Reengage pupils and re-establish structure and daily routines
• Monitor progression with each pupil and support effective learning
