Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment in Sheffield is seeking an experienced SEMH Tutor to support pupils who struggle to access traditional schooling due to SEMH needs. You will provide 1:1 and small-group tutoring, and travel between locations to deliver sessions as required.

The role requires a Full UK driving licence with access to your own car on a full-time basis. The position offers flexible Part-time or Full-time opportunities with pay of £25-£35 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tutoring and small-group sessions for SEMH pupils
• Travel between locations to deliver tutoring where required
• Support pupils to re-engage with education and maintain engagement
• Deliver engaging, appropriately differentiated learning
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, families and professionals
• Support emotional regulation and confidence in learners
• Adapt sessions around each pupil's needs and boundaries
• Collaborate with schools, families and other professionals as appropriate
• Support pupils to develop academically and personally
