Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs.
• Empathetic, patient and resilient personality.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Ability to de-escalate challenging situations effectively.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Relevant education, care or support qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis.
• Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning programmes.
