Job summary

St James CE Primary School in Northampton invites a Teaching Assistant (SEMH) to join our PARC nurture provision within a faith-led, inclusive setting. You will work alongside the PARC Nurture Lead and the Assistant Headteacher to support pupils with SEMH needs, promoting wellbeing and learning progress.

The role requires experience or qualifications in SEMH support, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and families.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH needs in mainstream or specialist settings.
• Ability to motivate and support children to flourish and reach potential.
• Commitment to inclusive practice and Christian ethos.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEMH needs within the PARC nurture provision.
• Collaborate with the Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour and Inclusion) and Nurture Lead.
