Job summary

Heath Hayes Primary Academy is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils, with a strong focus on Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will work with the class teacher to provide engaging, inclusive learning opportunities in a caring environment and may lead small group or 1:1 tasks to access the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, demonstrate high expectations, and contribute to raising standards while supporting the school team and safeguarding

Qualifications

• Experience delivering whole class learning and adapting learning to be accessible for all pupils.
• Ability to support SEMH needs with structured small groups or 1:1 activities.
• Strong commitment to inclusive, engaging and practical learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide class support and help the class teacher deliver learning.
• Support pupils with SEMH needs using structured activities and targeted guidance.
• Help ensure the curriculum is accessible through practical, hands-on learning.
