Randstad Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with SEMH and ASD. The role offers flexible day-to-day hours during term-time, with a typical day from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
You will deliver targeted 1:1 and small group support, de-escalate challenging behaviours using restorative, trauma-informed approaches, and help learners build confidence, emotional regulation, and social skills in an inclusive classroom.

At the heart of our school, we are committed to supporting the young people in our care to build their self-esteem and confidence, develop meaningful and positive friendships, and engage in a curriculum that will allow them to find success in their adult lives. All of our students have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) as a core identified need. The majority of our learners also present with additional needs, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and communication and interaction difficulties.
