Job summary

Revolve Collective Limited in Blythe Bridge is seeking a calm, resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant / Behaviour Mentor to support young people with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will build positive relationships, provide 1:1 and small-group support, and help create a calm learning environment.

Experience with SEMH, SEN or challenging behaviour is beneficial; background in youth work or residential care can transfer well. Full-time, long-term role with £95–£120 per day, start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Calm, resilient and confident when working with young people.
• Experience of SEMH, SEN, challenging behaviour or safeguarding is beneficial.
• Experience in youth work, residential care or similar roles is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, consistent relationships with young people
• Support pupils with SEMH, behavioural and emotional needs
• Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where required
• Encourage engagement with learning and classroom activities
• Act as a positive role model and trusted adult
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
• Work alongside teachers and the wider pastoral team
• Help create a calm, structured and positive learning environment
• Encourage resilience, independence and positive choices
