Job summary

Qualifications

• Confident managing challenging behaviours.
• Resilient, patient, and able to remain calm under pressure.
• Ex-forces personnel, sports coaches, youth workers, or individuals with a strong sporting background are desirable.
• Full driving licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEMH and SEN needs within the classroom.
• Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours in a calm, consistent manner.
• Build positive relationships with students who may be disengaged from education.
• Encourage participation in learning and promote positive behaviour.
• Work alongside teachers and support staff to provide a safe learning environment.
