Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Manchester is seeking SEMH Student Support Mentors to assist pupils with emotional, social and mental health needs in specialist SEMH schools.
You will support students 1:1 and in small groups, build trusting relationships, encourage engagement in learning, and help develop emotional regulation and social skills. Collaboration with teachers and safeguarding staff is essential.

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with specialist SEMH schools across the Manchester area to recruit enthusiastic, resilient, and compassionate SEMH Student Support Mentors. These rewarding full-time opportunities involve supporting students who present with a range of needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), trauma, attachment difficulties, anxiety, low self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, and challenging behaviours.
SEMH schools provide a highly supportive and nurturing environment for pupils who may have struggled in mainstream education. As a Student Support Mentor, you'll have the opportunity to positively influence a young person's educational journey, helping them build confidence, resilience, and the skills needed to thrive both in school and beyond.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
