Job summary

Manor Field Infant and Nursery School in Norwich is seeking a SEMH SRB Teaching Assistant to work 25 hours per week, term time plus one week (39 weeks). The post is permanent and paid on Scale D (£15,276 annually).

Start date is as soon as possible. You will support pupils, including those with special educational needs, and assist the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom, contributing to an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• You will undertake care, learning programmes and activities to support pupils.
• Able to support pupils including more specialised support for SEN.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate students.
• Willing to undergo safeguarding screening and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to pupils including more specialised support for SEN.
• Assist the teacher in classroom management and learning activities.
• Contribute to safeguarding and welfare procedures.
