Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated SEMH support assistant for our Horley campus. Join a supportive, close-knit team and help pupils aged 5 to 16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The role offers term-time hours, Monday to Friday, with a daily rate of £95–£105.

You'll provide personal care, work trauma-informed, and foster a positive learning environment. A driving licence and DBS update service are required, with sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Comfortable providing personal care for students aged 5 to 16.
• At least 3 to 6 months of experience in a similar educational or care environment.
• A full driving licence and access to a car, as the campus is in a remote location.
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above.
• Understanding or training in a trauma-informed approach to support.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to get one.
• Permanent right to work in the UK (we cannot accept applicants needing sponsorship or VISA support)
