Job summary

Fleggburgh CofE Primary School in Norfolk is seeking an SEN 1:1 Classroom Assistant to support a child with special educational needs in KS1. The role is part-time, 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am to 3.15pm, term time plus one week, and is temporary until 25 March 2027.

You will work in a small, child-centred team, know the needs of all children, foster high standards, and contribute to a caring Christian ethos.

Qualifications

• experience supporting a child with SEN in KS1
• ability to manage challenging behaviour
• excellent communication with pupils, colleagues and parents
• enjoy working in a small, child-centred team
