Job summary

Randstad Staffing supports a specialist SEMH school in Horley seeking a dedicated non-teaching assistant to support pupils aged 5–16. This permanent, term-time-only position enables you to make a real difference while enjoying school holidays off and a stable schedule.

Working hours are 8:30–16:30, Monday–Friday. You will learn to provide personal care, manage behaviour, build relationships, and support learning under supervision. DBS check required or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn to provide personal care for ages 5–16.
• Enhanced DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one.
• 3–6 months minimum experience in similar roles.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or higher.
• Driving licence and access to a car due to remote campus location.
• Trauma‑informed approach to learning and support.
