Job summary

Manor Field Infant and Nursery School in Norwich is seeking a SEMH SRB Teaching Assistant to work 25 hours per week, term time plus one week (39 weeks). The post is permanent and paid on Scale D (£15,276 annually).

Start date is as soon as possible. You will support pupils, including those with special educational needs, and assist the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom, contributing to an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

  • You will undertake care, learning programmes and activities to support pupils.
  • Able to support pupils including more specialised support for SEN.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to motivate students.
  • Willing to undergo safeguarding screening and DBS checks.

Responsibilities

8.30am – 3.15pm - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday

Clarion Inclusive Trust is seeking to appoint a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work at Manor Field Infant and Nursery School, Specialist Resource Base to provide support to pupils.You will undertake care, learning programmes and activities to support pupils, including more specialised support for special educational needs, enable access to learning and assist the teacher in the management of pupils in the classroom.

We are looking for someone who understands and enjoys working with young people, is well organised, flexible, adaptable and enjoys variety in your work.You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to motivate students and gain their respect.You will need a high level of personal emotional regulation; however, the post does offer therapeutic supervision.
