Job summary

Engage Education seeks an experienced Alternative Provision Manager for a secondary setting in Bradford. You will lead the on-site AP, support vulnerable students with SEMH, and work with senior leaders to reintegrate learners into mainstream lessons.

The role combines pastoral leadership with teaching, safeguarding and strategic planning, delivering targeted interventions and developing partnerships with external professionals.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in Alternative Provision or pastoral settings.
• Experience supporting vulnerable young people with SEMH.
• Ability to design and lead a personalised curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the school's main Alternative Provision.
• Support reintegration of students back to mainstream lessons.
• Deliver and coordinate interventions for individuals and groups.
• Monitor progress and analyse data to inform support strategies.
• Maintain safeguarding records and liaise with external partners.
