Justteachers Ltd in Kings Lynn are seeking a resilient SEMH Teacher to join an Alternative Provision from September 2026. This full‑time role works with secondary pupils who experience SEMH needs and may have disrupted education.

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, differentiating to meet individual SEMH requirements. You will collaborate with pastoral teams, therapists and families to re‑engage learners and support wellbeing and progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with SEMH pupils or within an Alternative Provision (desirable but not essential).
• Two education or school based references.
• Strong behaviour management grounded in relationship‑based practice.
• Ability to differentiate learning for a wide range of abilities.
• A calm, reflective and solution‑focused approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapted to meet individual SEMH needs.
• Create a safe, structured learning environmentthat promotes emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
• Plan personalised learning pathways that support academic progress and personal development.
• Work collaboratively with pastoral staff, therapists, external agencies and families.
• Model resilience, empathy and consistency to support pupils with complex needs.
