Job summary

Academics is seeking an experienced Alternative Provision Head of School to lead a dynamic SEMH provision for secondary pupils. You will oversee staff, drive operational management, and guide strategic development to expand the centre while ensuring high standards.

The role requires QTS and ideally NPQH, with a track record of managing SEMH programs and ensuring policy compliance across the school.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS and current registration.
• Experience leading a SEMH/SEN provision.
• Proven ability to manage staff and resources.
• Experience with EHCPs and SEMH needs.
• Role involves strategic development and expansion of the centre.

Responsibilities

• Lead a staff team and operationally manage the school.
